  • Alfred Hitchcock was way ahead of his time. He predicted even more vicious attacks in his movie - "The Birds".  He even predicted the part of the country where such attacks would take place!

  • President Obama is a pragmatist not an ideologue. We all know that there is always an enviromental downside to anything that it built but building windmills causes a lot less environmental damage than offshore oil wells and fossil fuel power plants.

  • The Democrats are in charge and are trying to get a good financial reform bill. The Republicans only want Obama to fail (and, along with it, the American people) to enhance their chances in the next election.

  • Yes, the economy in my case is much better than it was a year ago. A year ago the company I worked for froze salaries (in fact turned back salary increases that had been given a few month earlier); stopped its contributions to the 401K plan and did not provide bonuses as it had in previous years.

  • "You lie!". I get HDTV in The Woodlands, Texas from Comcast and MSNBC is not in high definition. Why? Is it a problem with comcast or is it a problem from the MSNBC TV end. Is MSNBC TV only broadcasting in HIgh Definition is some parts of the country.

  • I read President Obama's speach. Any parent that would keep their child is hearing it is pretty much insane. He wil say what I expected him to say and that is that an education is very important to your sucess in life. It will be an inspiring speach to the countries children.

  • What is the cure for stupid? Most of the vocal protestors who make a lot of noise to drown out any discussion of the issues involving health care reform appear to be of Medicare age or close. They also mostly appear to be lower or middle class.

  • I don't know what Pelosi knew or when she knew it. Why does it matter? She could not have stopped the Bush/Cheney administraiton from doing the torture and other law breaking. The heat should be put on those that broke the law. They should be prosecuted. Let the chips fall where they may.

  • There is no way that Obama is like Bush. For one thing Obama is brillient and Bush ..well. Obama's financial support is coming from millions of small doners and I have no doubt that Obama will work in the interest of the people of this country and not any special interest.
